Create a Campaign with EmailUnlimited
In order to send mailings to your
customers, friends or co-workers, you need to setup a Campaign first.
Setting up a campaign is
fairly easy, simply click on "New Campaign..." and the Wizard for
creating a new Campaign will appear and
lead you
through the setup process step-by-step:

First of all, you will
need to enter a name for your new Campaign. The default
name is 'NewCampaign', but you may also choose a different
name.
When you are ready, click
on the 'Next >>' button to select where EmailUnlimited shall fetch
the records for your list of recipients.
Select Your List Of Email
Addresses

You can choose from three
options:
1. Create a Complete new
Address List
This option will create a complete new Address List for your campaign to which
you can manually add recipients or import records from other files later on.
Click on Next >> and EmailUnlimited will automatically create a new database
file with a default selection of fields for you.
2. Import Records from a File,
such as a Text File.
Use this option if you already have a file that contains your list of email
addresses and would like to import the records into EmailUnlimited.
EmailUnlimited can pull records from Text databases, CSV files, Microsoft Excel
Spreadsheets, Outlook Contact Lists, Microsoft Access Databases, dBase Databases
and several other formats.
3. Use Email Addresses from an
External Database
Use this option if you have an
existing database that you would like to associate directly with your campaign.
This option is recommended if you have a Microsoft Access database, an
ODBC database or an ACT! database that you would like to use directly with
EmailUnlimited.
If you have chosen option 2 or 3,
EmailUnlimited will continue asking you to select the format in which your
Address List is saved.

After you have selected the file, EmailUnlimited will ask you to select the
field in your Address List file that contains the email address:

If you have a field named similar to 'Email',
EmailUnlimited will already suggest it, so in most cases you only have to
confirm the selection by clicking on the 'Next >>' button.
When you are finished setting up
subscribe/unsubscribe rules, click on 'Finish' to exit the wizard.
Now you have
finished the creation of your first Campaign. Now you can move on to one of the more advanced tasks:
